After running to Philadelphia every weekend for weddings, I have to say that driving a whole whopping ten minutes to Foxchase Golf Club for Vicki and Scott's big day felt a bit like I was cheating the system. I'm allowed to shoot a wedding without driving an hour and a half? What kind of sorcery is this?! I left the wedding at 7:30 pm, got home at 7:45pm, and had all the images uploaded and culled before I went to bed. Good lord, now I'm spoiled for this weekend!
But it wasn't just the short drive that had me spoiled on this lovely Saturday - Vicki and Scott are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and they have been together for ten (yes TEN) years! Someone start a slow clap, please. But joking aside, it was so lovely to witness their two families coming together and becoming one - though I think they already considered each other family, as I had a hard time distinguishing who was on whose side. I just love that!
Vicki and Scott, it was such an honor playing a small part in your big day. I can't wait for you to see all of your images from the wedding, but in the meantime enjoy your blog post!! I wish you all the best that love and life has to offer.
