My first micro-wedding is in the books! Emily and Will originally planned to tie the knot at Stevens Ballroom and follow up with a reception at the Hamilton Club, and while I can't wait to do all of that next year, their sweet and intimate micro-wedding at Char's Tracy Mansion was an amazing Covid "back up" plan. I say back up tentatively, because nothing about the day felt any less special than the original day they had planned. There were still all of the same heartfelt moments - Emily's mom and best friend helping her get ready, Will's happy tears when she walked down the aisle, and impromptu speeches about the couple that led to more than a few chuckles.
And best of all, we get to do it all again next year. Saying "see you in 2021!" is honestly my favorite way to end the evening. So Will and Emily, thank you for making me feel like part of the family, and I can't wait to celebrate with the whole gang next year!
