Brooke | Newborn Session

Ah, newborn sessions. They're so great for so many reasons, but as I drove to Lebanon in something similar to a monsoon Sunday morning, I knew this one was going to be a little extra special. This sweet little peanut made her debut a few weeks early, so she was actually six weeks earthside in these pictures! I usually aim to shoot newborn sessions before the babe is three weeks old, but for Brooke six weeks was absolutely perfect. Grow grow grow, little one!

You might remember Travis and Emily from when I captured their wedding last year - but I'm lucky enough to call them family. Getting to welcome Brooke into our Heck clan was such an honor, and I can't wait to see her grow and change and chase my little people around the Thanksgiving table this time next year! Trav and Em - ya did good. Welcome to parenthood! It's been a wild couple of weeks, but you two are handling it all with such grace and love.
